Roughly sixty metres of embankment gave way shortly after midnight. Water is moving across four revenue villages and the NH-15 approach is under half a metre at the Jonai diversion.
Two rescue boats and a medical team dispatched. North bank freight is being held at Tezpur until the diversion is surveyed.
Kilometre stone 47, NH-306, Kolasib, Mizoram
The full slope came down across both lanes and took the shoulder with it. Two vehicles are trapped between the debris and the drop edge with no safe way to reverse out.
Aizawl is isolated by road while this holds. Air movement requested for medical and perishable consignments.

Loose slope material and two large boulders are across both lanes just past the tunnel mouth. About forty vehicles are queued with no diversion signage in place.
Clearance plant on site. Barak valley traffic is being advised onto the Dimapur and Imphal approach instead.
Sohra and the southern slopes, East Khasi Hills, Meghalaya
Two hundred and forty millimetres recorded in twenty four hours with a further heavy spell forecast overnight. Slope saturation across the southern face is already past the level that preceded the Sonapur failure.
Slope watch raised to the highest level. Night movement of heavy vehicles discouraged on all hill sections.
Rangpo to Singtam, Pakyong, Sikkim
About twelve metres of carriageway has dropped into the river and the crack behind it is widening through the day. The remaining lane has not been cleared for load.

Annapurna Ghat gauge, Cachar, Assam
The gauge is reading nineteen centimetres above the danger mark and still rising at roughly three centimetres an hour. Low lying wards on the eastern edge of Silchar are taking water.
Relief camps opened at four schools. Freight staging moved to higher ground on the Agartala side.
Twenty two kilometres west of Tamenglong town, Tamenglong, Manipur
Shallow event at ten kilometres depth. No structural collapse reported, but the district hospital boundary wall and a first floor corridor are cracked.
Structural clearance requested before patients return indoors. Hill cut sections on both corridors under fresh inspection.
Khongsang approach, NH-37, Noney, Manipur
Scour measured around the central pier is above the safe threshold after a week of high discharge. The structure is sound but the margin has narrowed.
Axle load capped at sixteen tonnes. Heavy relief vehicles routed through Kohima instead.
