Emergency SOS

Raise an emergency and share exactly what a response team needs before it leaves. Everything you enter goes into the same queue the operations console reads.

Priority channel

Start by sharing your location

Press the button to attach your exact coordinates, then fill in the detail below. If you cannot share a location, the address fields alone are enough.

Emergency detail

The more precise the access detail, the faster a team can reach the site.

How urgent is this

Your best estimate is fine.

The team will call this number on approach.

What a driver should look for, and which side to come in from.

Water depth, whether anyone is trapped, medical needs, what is already blocked.

Goes to the response queue on this prototype, not to a real control room.

Official helplines

Dial these directly. This platform does not route to them.

  • 112National emergency number
  • 108Ambulance and medical response
  • 1070State disaster management control room
  • 1077District emergency operations centre

What gets shared

Sent with every emergency raised here.

  • Exact coordinates when location is shared, otherwise the address you type
  • Nature and severity of the emergency
  • How many people are involved
  • Nearest landmark and how to approach the site
  • A contact number for the team to call on arrival
  • Which corridors near the site are currently open

While you wait

  • Move to the highest ground you can reach safely and stay there rather than attempting to cross moving water.
  • Keep the phone on and the number free. A team will call before approaching.
  • If you are on a hill road, do not stop below a cut slope. Move to a straight, open stretch if one is within reach.
  • Send someone to the nearest junction to wave the vehicle in if the access lane is hard to spot.
