Disaster aware route planner

Pick a start and a destination. The corridor network is solved again with the current condition of every segment, so closures and degraded stretches shape the answer rather than being ignored.

Live corridor weights

Guwahati to Imphal

Solved for running time, with closed segments removed from the network and cautioned segments slowed.

Segment by segment

What the driver meets on the way, in order.

  1. 01NH-27Open

    Guwahati to Dimapur

    270 km5 hrplains

The main trunk east. Carrying the bulk of convoy traffic this week.

  2. 02NH-29CautionLandslide

    Dimapur to Kohima

    74 km3 hr 31 minhills

Two small slips on the climb. Alternating single file, queues build against the morning convoy.

  3. 03NH-2CautionLandslide

    Kohima to Imphal

    145 km7 hr 19 minhigh hills

Partial slip narrowing the Maram climb. Manipur lifeline corridor, so any closure here bites immediately.

How to read the risk number

Risk is a distance weighted average across the whole route, from zero on open plains to one hundred on a closed hill section. It blends terrain class, current segment condition and the hazard acting on that segment. It is not a probability, and on this prototype it is computed from simulated corridor data.

Under 25 is routine, 25 to 44 needs care, 45 to 69 is exposed, 70 and above should not be driven without clearance.
